My husband, Bob, and I have been raising Nubians since 1970, here in the Pacific Northwest. We started because our son was allergic to cow's milk and then the goats became 4-H projects for our 3 children.
Well the children are grown, but the goats are still here. What can I say, I am totally enamored of them and of the goal to breed my ideal animal. I like large, dairy type does that have long lactations of good tasting milk. Since I also like to do a limited amount of showing, my does have to have good conformation and nice mammary systems.

Our herd is negative for CAE and is tested regularly with WSU.
Our herd name, Tamahnous (Tuh-man-o-us), is a word meaning magical or powerful from the Northwest Chinook language.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our site.
